Hollywood new released “X-Men: Apocalypse” made an earning of Rs 4.51 crore in the opening day, whereas one of the Bollywood’s biggest hit “Sarbjit” earned only Rs 3.69 crore in the same day at box offices of India. In this context it can be said that “X-Men: Apocalypse” has done well and has become much popular than Aishwarya Rai and Randeep Hooda starrer one of the big released Hindi movie, “Sarbjit”.
In present days it has been quite common that Hollywood movies not only dominating our domestic release of India but also their opening day income is surpassing the Bollywood’s big hits. As per the report, “Sarbjit” could not able to achieve good impact at the box office by proving its low occupancy in the morning show. But its occupancy became little rise up in the evening and the night show. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has commented in his Twitter account that although the “Sarbjit” has much picked up occupancy in the evening or night shows but the box office income of the film for the opening day was as low as Rs 3.69 crore.
The well-documented film “Sarbjit” is directed by the Mary Kom director, Omung Kumar who has expected a good increase in the box office income on the second day and third day The film is mainly based on an innocent Punjabi farmer in Pakistan jail as a prisoner for about two decades and how her sister fight for his freedom. The film cast Randeep Hooda in the lead role along with Richa Chaddha as his wife and Aishwarya Rai as his sister. Being a real life story it is full of drama and painful sorrow. The movie though has got a mixed review by one and a half star, but the director and the actors are still hoping for its increased income on the coming days.
On the contrary, though the Hollywood film “X-Men: Apocalypse” has made an Indian box office collection of Rs 4.51 crore but the occupancy for the morning show was quite high i.e., 50% and is expected to rise more in the evening and night shows. This Hollywood movie was directed by Bryan Singer features mainly James McAvoy and others. This superhero movie is in the seventh position in the X-Men series officially and there was lots of repeated faces from the last film and also the director has introduced some newer ones. Though high range of action sequence is little poor in some places but the overall the film is much entertaining and has been rated three stars.
According to the film lovers the occupancy as well as the box office income both are going to increase in the coming weekend for the Bollywood movie “Sarbjit” but still there remains a question about the performance of the Bollywood upcoming movies in the future days. In contrast, the Hollywood movies have started to conquer Indian market as well as Indian movie lovers.
