Yes, you heard it right. Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani have been chosen as the lead in the sequel to the Horror-Comedy movie. The filming has already begun on 9th October 2019, and as we heard it right, going to be soon released on March 25, 2022. With the news of the opening of cinema halls in Maharashtra, the release date got finalized. It seems like the Makers were waiting for the cinema release only.
A 3-year longer gap must have marred the zeal of the fans and so much money loss for the production house, but not to worry, the film finally got a release date that is March 25 of the next year. Hearing this, the fans are satisfied and have flooded Kartik’s and Kiara’s social media handles and started trending on Twitter. Kartik even shared the poster on his Instagram handle, “25th MARCH 2022. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 At a theatre near you!!” and within minutes, there were a huge number of likes and comments.
The film stars Kartik, Kiara, and the veteran and talented Tabu in the lead role along with Rajpal Yadav, Govind Namdev and Amar Upadhyay. With an immensely talented cast and a superhit original, we are sure this sequel will be a super hit too. The original film was released in 2007 and was loved by the audience, and was declared a runaway hit.

The previously released posters have already revealed Kartik in an orange attire, while the new poster shows Kartik, all dressed up in black on the top of an old monument surrounded by ravens on a full moon night. The film is directed by Anees Bazmee, who has given hits like Welcome, Welcome back, No Entry, Hulchul, to name a few, so the expectations are quite high on the sequel.
It is stated that Kartik shot for a climax scene of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 last month itself. He wrote on his Instagram handle; that the “Shot 162” climax was one of the most challenging sequences he has ever shot for, and it was indeed a great team effort.
