Take Inspiration From Freedom Fighters, Says Anil Vij, The Haryana Home Minister
Anil Vij, Haryana’s Home Minister, has stated that Indians can breathe freely due to the sacrifices made by independence warriors. After hoisting the national flag at the Police Lines here on Independence Day, he stated, “We must learn from the heroic warriors and do our part to serve the nation and society.”
The minister reminded the audience that the First War of Independence began on May 8, 1857, in Ambala, India, and ended there.
According to Vij, the Indian Army has done an excellent job in securing the nation’s borders. “Haryana is home to every tenth soldier in the Indian Army. The state government is pleased with them. It was never a question for the heroes of the state to lay down their lives for the sake of the nation’s unity and integrity,” he said, adding that the Covid fighters performed a valuable service to society by preventing the spread of the virus.
The state administration, according to the home minister, has taken several efforts to promote good governance. Khelo India contests will be held in Haryana for the first time, as revealed by Vij. “A total of 550 positions have been created in the Sports Department to secure employment for athletes,” he continued.
