All the cigar manufacturers have established their house style over many years of experimentation in rolling, growing, drying, and fermenting tobacco leaves into great cigar brands, such as Dutch Masters.
Although most of the trading secrets of legendary cigars basically come down to fermentation and growing conditions, there are tips to consider, especially when you are buying for the first time. Some of these tips include:

ToggleBuy from a Secure Site
The site you buy from must use SSL or data encryption technology. This ascertains that the details passing between the site and your computer can’t be interpreted by other individuals.
Reliable online stores also post their terms of use and privacy policy. Plus, when opening up an account with the site you want to buy from, ensure you use a strong password that has both numbers and letters.
-
Consider the Quantity
At times, when buying products in bulk, you may score extra perks, such as free shipping. This is also true when buying cigars, and your purchase is over a particular dollar threshold.
Most stores as well provide discounts when you buy multiple boxes. If there is a brand you prefer and want to purchase it by the box, opt to buy in bulk and age them in a coolerdor to have the juiciest bargain.
-
Don’t Go Overboard
As the general rule of thumb, you normally get what you actually pay for. However, if you are buying for the first time, there will be no need to spend a lot of cash.
It is possible to get a high-quality cigar for less than $10, and at your level, you don’t have to light up a too fancy cigar. So consider sticking to a moderately priced cigar at first, and immediately as your palate advances, you may treat yourself to those extravagant cigars.
-
Prioritize the Flavor
Before buying a cigar, whether online or at a physical store, you need to think of what you want it to taste like.
Different kinds of cigars can be full-bodied, mild, sweet, or spicy. Determine which flavors appeal to you the most and think of the corresponding aroma too.
In general, cigars may have flavors of cinnamon, wood, or nuts. You should try a few different favors so that you get one that you like.
-
Purchase by the Brand Name
If you have realized that you are into two or three cigars from a certain brand, it will be a perfect idea to research more about it and determine what else it offers.
Normally, cigar brands have their identities and have a connection to each other, even when they have dissimilar flavor descriptions or notes.
If you find one brand into your liking, then it means you are more likely to like others. So it can be worth it to try buying several cigars from the same brand.
Concluding Remarks!
With that said, there is no assurance that you will like the first cigar you try. The flavor strength and profile of the high-end smoke may not be your favorite. This is why you’re recommended to try several brands and flavors to get one that is worth the splurge.
