The survey was conducted across 13 countries, including India, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, and Japan, among others. It involved over 45,000 respondents, who were asked to rate the performance of their leaders in various areas such as governance, crisis management, foreign policy, and communication.
Modi’s popularity has remained high despite the challenges faced by India in recent years, including the COVID-19 pandemic, economic slowdown, and political unrest. His leadership during the pandemic has been praised for its effective management, as India was able to control the spread of the virus and roll out one of the world’s largest vaccination drives.
Modi’s leadership has also been praised for its focus on economic reforms, such as the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and the Make in India initiative. These policies have helped to boost India’s economic growth and attract foreign investment.
In the survey, Modi received a net approval rating of 66%, far ahead of other world leaders such as US President Joe Biden, who received a net approval rating of 48%, and UK Chancellor Rishi Sunak, who received a net approval rating of 43%.
Other world leaders who featured in the survey included German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga, and French President Emmanuel Macron, among others.
The survey results are a testament to the popularity of Modi not just in India but across the world. His leadership has been widely appreciated for its focus on development and progress, and his policies have resonated with people from all walks of life.
As Modi continues to lead India on its path of growth and development, it is clear that his popularity will only continue to grow, cementing his position as one of the most popular and influential leaders of our time.
