Covid-19 Hotspot In 15 Districts To Be Sealed Till15 April

The Uttar Pradesh government has announced large-scale sealing of infected areas or ‘hotspots’ in 15 districts in the state, with 6 cases or more of the COVID-19 virus as well as to prevent community spread. All coronavirus hotspots in 15 districts will be completely sealed by the morning of 15 April. Only home delivery will be allowed.

15 District COVID-19 Hotspots name

Gautam Budh Nagar (Noida), Ghaziabad, Meerut, Lucknow, Agra, Kanpur, Varanasi, Shamli, Saharanpur, Firozabad, Bulandshahar, Bareilly, Basti, Maharajganj, and Sitapur are among the 15 districts.

In a letter addressed to the district heads of all the above-mentioned districts, Chief Secretary RK Tiwari said that all the ‘hotspots’ found in these districts would have 100 percent distribution of essential products and there will be no shops, grocery stores or vegetable markets will be opened so that the social distances remain to maintain.

100% delivery of essential goods

No person other than the Health Department officials and employees engaged in distributing essential items will be allowed to step outside the house, for which strict patrolling will be done. A thorough drone camera scanning & sanitization of houses will be carried out.

Review Curfew Pass

The Secretary requested (asked) the administration of these districts to review the distributed curfew pass, and it should be canceled under the existing conditions for those deemed not appropriate. For various types of workers, including factory workers of essential commodities, arrangements will be made to transport vehicle pooling to their respective workplaces.

Note: Uttar Pradesh currently has 343 positive cases across the state.
