Other farmer leaders will also take the occasion in different groups. The two main demands of the Kisan Mahapanchayat of Karnal are to order lathi-charge on the farmers. Suspend the IAS officer and give compensation to the families of the farmers who lost their lives.
Kisan Union has demanded a compensation of ₹ 2500000 and a government job to the family members of farmer Sushil Kajal of Gharaunda.
