Steroid’s major side effect – hair loss

Generally today’s, anabolic steroids are used for enhancing muscle mass, fast recovery after any injury and burn extra fat speedily. With many advantages steroids have some risks also. Users are ready to take risk for bodybuilding. Regular use of steroids may speed up the predisposition for hair loss. This is one of the common side effects of steroids. Men between the Age of18 and 35 don’t have a knowledge and true understanding about risks of steroids.

Testosterone and other form of steroid mainly anabolic steroid cause male pattern baldness. It is fairly common risk for users. While everyone put a risk of losing some hair every day, this type of hair loss occurs due to genetics and male sex hormone. Hair follicles are shrieked over the time due to use of steroids. It makes follicles harder for hair healthy and to grow.  When hormone levels rise in the human body, hairs speed up the predisposition for hair loss. Hair follicles become smaller therefore, the hair becoming short and fine and at the end falling out. Once the hairs fall out, it is not temporarily it is permanent because new hairs do not grow in same place. In this case user has limited options – primarily user must stop the intake of steroids and visit the doctor for possible treatment.

Finasteride and Minoxidil are such medicines can help to cure this problem. It could stimulates hair growth and protect from male pattern baldness. For effective and safe treatment plan, user should share the history of steroid with the doctor. Many hair loss experts and physicians said that male pattern baldness is generally caused by dihydrotestosterone or other hormonal factors. However, DHT is considered as the primary reason.  When DHT attaches to the hair follicles and causes the inflammatory process to shed hair and further shedding process continues. Shortly it is said that DHT cause hair loss.

Hair loss is not happened with every user. When user is genetically prone to male pattern baldness, steroids likely rise hair loss because higher levels of DHT being in the body. If person is not prone genetically to hair loss, there is no problem and without any worry user begin the steroid cycle. Steroid does not cause hair loss itself. All steroids are not responsible for hair loss. Some steroids have the highest possibilities of causing hair loss. These are Masteron, Winstrol, Methenolone, Anavar, Anadrol and proviron etc. Cutting steroids have DHT and it is responsible for hair loss if user genetically prone to the hair loss.

To prevent or lesser the possibility of steroid related hair loss, user have to lower presence of DHT levels circulating through the body. It is most important to stop the DHT attaching to the hair follicles that are genetically prone to baldness. Steroid users face a big problem while they are on steroid cycle because at that time there can be higher DHT level moving throughout the body. But user not to worry so much because where are problems, solution are also anywhere. Several options are available for control and treatment of hair loss. Apply any possible method with the supervision and guidance of doctor.
