JEE Main Exam Pattern Revised; Numerical Value Questions Also to be Asked

National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced changes in the exam pattern of JEE Main 2020 along with the official notification. NTA conducts JEE Main examination for engineering and architecture aspirants. Previously, the exam had two papers, Paper 1 for engineering aspirants and Paper 2 for architecture and planning aspirants. The notification shows changes in both the papers.

According to the revised JEE Main exam pattern, Paper 1 will also have numerical value questions along with the multiple-choice questions while in a significant change, Paper 2 will now be different for B.Arch and B.Plan candidates. The B.Arch paper will consist of objective questions for aptitude, objective & numerical questions for Mathematics and questions for Drawing.

As per the revised exam pattern, B.Plan paper will also have three parts- Part 1- Mathematics, Part 2- Aptitude and Part 3- Planning based questions. Here, this article, we have provided the detailed JEE Main exam pattern. Read the full article to know about the same.

JEE Main Exam Pattern – B.Tech (Paper 1)

As per the revised exam pattern for B.Tech, the paper will include multiple choice and numerical questions from three subjects-Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The table given below will help you to understand the exam pattern for Paper 1 in detail.
