It’s was the unfortunate day for Indian Hockey Team that they had to come back from the very close of Gold medal. In semi finals India was defeated by Belgium at 2-5. Now they have to fight for the Bronze medal. On the other hand, Annu Rani couldn’t win in spite of her best performance in the Javelin throw. In the freestyle wrestling, Bolortuya from Mongolia dashed off Sonam Mallik from India. Apart from all these, Tajinderpal Singh, in the event of men’s shooting is in full effort to take a winning position.
The above mentioned summary is a glimpse of the verdict of yesterday’s Tokyo Olympics 2020. It’s clearly seen that the 12th day was not for India. Annu had to say goodbye first yesterday which was quite painful for India at the beginning. Then after 49 years, India became too much hopeful with the Indian Hockey Team. Though they gave their 100%, but at last couldn’t manage to grab the Gold Medal. The event, Javelin Throw was awful enough for India. Overall, yesterday was not for India.
The Updates Of Day 12
- The day was started through the event of Juvenil Throw. Entire India gazed at Annu Rani with the starting of a new day. But unfortunately Annu Rani was unable to make her position in this event. And she had to good bye to Tokyo Olympics 2020.
- The Rio Olympics Bronze medalist, Thomas Walsh skillfully made their way for New Zealand to reach towards the Gold Medal. This was meant that Tajinderpal had to goes back from the final round. And this’s a little bit of upset. Tajinderpal’s best shot was 19.9m in the event, shot put. But it’s not enough yesterday.
- Tajinderpal was given a chance in the final round which was his third attempt. After putting all the effort he became 12th in that round.
- In the event of Men’s 3m Springboard Diving Final, Jack Laugher from Great Britain was able to grab the Bronze medal.
- Karsten Warholm was able to write a covering in History for his fantastic performance within 45.94 seconds. Where the record was 46.70 seconds in the 400m men’s hurdle event.
- In the Volleyball Brazil overthrew Japan to snatch their victory.
- In the Quarter Final of Wrestling, the Mongolian participant was just tremendous. As Sonam from India had to accept the awful defeat with the score 10-0.
