  • Boxing: It’s a great hope for India from the event boxing. Each eye were gazing at Lovlina on Wednesday. In the semi final of women’s welterweight (69kg) World’s Number 1 named Busenaz Surmeneli was the opponent of Lovlina. 23 years old Lovlina tried her best. But she had to accept the defeat against Surmeneli in the semi-final. Lovlina was able to achieve Bronze medal. It’s was the third time for India to win Bronze medal in boxing in Tokyo Olympics. Ago Mary Kom and Vijender Singh secured Bronze medals for India.
  • Hockey: It’s a great hope to the Indian Hockey team. And the entire India was much excited with this event only. On 4th August, India combated ith their 100% effort and first led with 1-0 against Argentina through Gurjit Kaur . But in the next round, India was failed to grab the ultimate victory and had to leave the field of winning Gold Medal with 1-2 score. The Women’s Hockey team will play for the Bronze Medal in the next against the Great Britain.
  • Athletics: Neeraj Chopra gave a fantastic performance in the event of Men’s Javelin Throw Qualification Group A. What a throw it was! 86.65m was the measurement of his throw. He topped in the qualification round.

In the event of Group B Men’s Javelin Throw Qualifications round, Shivpal Singh also tried his best. His highest throw in Tokyo Olympics 2020 was 76.40m. The position was over all 27th and it’s not enough to be selected in the final round.

  • Wrestling: Yesterday it’s was Men’s Freestyle 57kg semi-final. And the fabulous performance was shown by Ravi Kumar. As he overthrew many well known athletics yesterday till 1/8 final. His great performance has ensured a medal for India in 2021.

In Women’s Freestyle 57kg 1/8 final Anshu Mallik could not win.

In the event Men’s Freestyle 86kg Semi-final, it’s the bad day for Deepak Punia. As he had to accept a great defeat to David Moris with 0-10. Though Deepak will be qualified to make his day in the pursuit of Bronze medal.
