He became a brilliant athletic in the field of the Tokyo Olympics. And the entire India was waiting to see the Gold medal for them through Ravi. However, he was defeated by Russian Zaur Uguev 4-7.
On the other hand, the Men’s hockey team also made a gigantic record after 41 years. The last Gold medal was won in 1980 in Moscow Olympics. After 1980, it’s 2021, that the Hockey team has won the Silver medal for India.
Golf: Aditi Ashok didn’t leave the field of the Tokyo Olympics 2020 in hurry. She became the joint 2nd yesterday. Though there will be 2 rounds more to get the ultimate winner.
Men’s Wrestling (57kg): Already in the previous events we have got the glimpse of strong fighting spirit of Ravi Dahiya. In Men’s Freestyle 57kg weightlifting, Ravi failed to grab the Gold medal. But skillfully snatched the Silver medal. It’s the second Silver medal for India.
Men’s Wrestling (86kg): It’s an unfortunate day for Deepak Punia. As he had to accept the defeat against Myles Amine in the Bronze medal event. The score was 2-4.
Women’s Wrestling (57kg): Unfortunately Anshu Malik was defeated by Valeria Koblove, the silver medalist of Olympic.
Women’s Freestyle (53kg): Vinesh Phogat was a hope for India who’s earlier a Gold concentrator. But Vinesh could not manage the victory in the Quarter Final round of Tokyo Olympics 2020. This Olympic might be not for Vinesh this year.
Walk: Sandeep Kumar became 23rd in position in Men’s 20km walk. Due to excessive he couldn’t gave his best. In this event, Italy was able to win the Gold medal.
