27th July 2021, Tuesday, it’s the 5th Day in Tokyo Olympics. Each day becomes full of suspense among the sports fanciers. So let’s check out the results of Day 5.
Update Of Tokyo Olympics Day 5
Shooting: In stage 1 of 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team Qualificat the two expertise Saurabh Chaudhury and Manu Bhaker both were privileged by winning to step forward in stage 2. It’s a matter of sorrow that Yashswini/ Abhisekh couldn’t take their place in stage 2. As they ended in 17th/20. In the next stage, only 8 efficient shooters were allowed. Unfortunately, the qualified Saurabh Chaudhury and Manu Bhaker were unable to grab the medals lastly as they completed at 7th.
Shooting: Stage 1 of 10m Air Rifle was also held yesterday. However, the Indian team couldn’t make their position in stage 2. Both the Indian shooter’s team, Deepak/Anjum, and Divyansh/Elavenil failed to go forward in the next round.
Hockey: It’s the most exciting Hockey match yesterday at Tokyo Olympics. India won against Spain. The score was 3-0 (India-Spain). Simranjeet Singh made the first field goal. And Rupinderpal Singh made the 2nd and 3rd goals.
Badminton: Satwiksairaj Rankireddy & Chirag Shetty took the victory in Men’s Doubles Group Play Stage with 21-17, 21-19 against the British team.
Table Tennis: Table Tennis Men’s Single Round 3 has ended. Sharath Kamal gave his best effort to win the 3rd round. Whereas Ma Long became more dominant yesterday. The score was 1-4 in the 3rd round.
Boxing: Lovlina Borgohain goes forward to the Quarter Final of 69kg weight. She’s so close to snatching the medal.
Sailing: KC Ganapathy & Varun Thakkar qualified in the 49er Men race 1, 2, and 3.
Sailing: Nethra Kumanan won in Women’s Laser Radial 5 & 6.
Sailing: Vishnu Saravanan finally won in Men’s Laser 4, 5, and 6.
