Helping Women Discover Their Wings

Women Creates Life… But still without Rights?

“Men are taught to apologize for their weaknesses, women for their strengths.” — Lois Wyse

Since centuries ‘she’ is regarded physically weak, socially backward and kept economically deprived. In Patriarchal society ‘she’ became victim of male dominance in both public and private sphere and was not allowed to take their own decisions.

When women have the autonomy and choice to make their own decisions they are empowered because they have no right of decision making, they have endured hardship over the years. Women became more aware of their influence as times changed. The movement for women’s emancipation got underway then. All women must however keep in mind that EMPOWERMENT is something that must be earned rather than given to them. Women must also think they are capable of making significant decisions in their lives and being able to follow through with those decisions.

Men Of Quality Do not Fear Equality

The word “women emancipation” has different connotations today. Giving women equal rights in all the spheres— Personal, Social, Economic, Political, Legal and so forth means empowering them to make choices about their lives and careers. When it comes to explaining why we require it, we still have a ways to go. All around the world, almost all nations nearly every civilization regardless of how progressive or growing have past of mistreating women. South Asian countries especially India still lag behind in terms of Women’s empowerment while Western Nations continue to advance. Women under Patriarchal society have been rebellious throughout history to achieve the position they do today. Despite the stereotype that women should be housewives and caregivers, modern women are working and achieving success in their professions. Empowerment is all about challenging yourself to perform better and more. Modern societies around the globe have been exposed to significant social, political, and economic development processes. However, because these procedures were not applied in a fair and orderly manner, they increased gender disparities and gender abuse everywhere in the world, with women continuing to be the worst victims. The circumstance has had a negative impact on the rate of women’s freedom. So that women can co-operate with male in society  and contribute equally to all the factors driving society’s overall growth, we need a fully transformed society in which women can be given equal chances for growth in a way that is appropriate.

There are many such nations where women do not have access to fundamental necessities during pregnancies and at the time of employment. They are unable to give our children a happy and healthy existence because many women are still not receiving enough benefits.Unlike western countries India is still among countries where women are not secure this is due to following reasons — Patriarchy or Patriarchal mind-set , dowry death, violence and discrimination, delayed punishments, Additionally women are married at young age and cannot pursue higher education and sad reality is several women pursue higher education just to avoid marriages, Men deny them any independence or opportunity to leave the house.

Empower The Woman To Empower The Next Generation

We can see how important women’s emancipation is today. We must give these women the tools they need to stand up for themselves and avoid becoming victims of unfairness. It is not simple because despite some people making Women’s empowerment a reality, for the majority of people it is still uncharted terrain. As a community we must recognise the progress that has been made in balancing the gender equality and recognise the reasons that Why this fight is overrated. The fact that empowering women today  result in a more growing and liberal society tomorrow should serve as our inspiration as we examine any debate about gender equality. The goal of women’s empowerment is to improve democratic governance, avoid crises, and foster global recovery for those who are affected. Giving women the ability to make all of the decisions that affect their lives as a result of societal challenges is referred to as “female empowerment.”

The Future Is Female

There are many different methods to empower women. To make it happen, the people and the administration must work together. Girls’ education needs to be made mandatory so that they can learn to read, write, and compute so they can support themselves and spread their wings.

Regardless of gender, women must be provided equal opportunities in all fields. Additionally, they must receive equal pay for equally hard labour.  A lady is a man’s companion and has an equal capacity for thought. We can support women’s decisions and honour their choices by eradicating patriarchy, child marriages, dowries, crimes and violence associated with dowries and marriages, and dowry death. It is urgently necessary to eradicate male superiority and the patriarchal mind-set if we are to achieve real women’s empowerment. Simply giving women legal and constitutional rights won’t be sufficient unless there is an attitude shift in society.
