ALTBalaji’s latest thriller entertainment titled Girgit has garnered massive popularity even before the launch. Quite recently, the makers did something unimaginable to promote their show. And boy, we can’t stop talking about it!
In a marketing masterstroke for the Girgit web series, ALTBalaji teamed up with the top 11 youth-centric brands. They partnered with popular brands, such as Flyrobe, Josh, Viral Pitch, Invisible Gastronomy Bar, Sasha Eyeware, The Nonsense Store, Bollywood, Abhibus, Ferns N Petals, Storytel, and Growfitter.
The primary objective of these partnerships with 11 brands was youth engagement. Since 80% of the ALTBalaji users are below 35 years, they aimed to raise curiosity among the younger generation by pulling off this promotional stunt. And hey, guess what? While Sasha Eyeware organised a giveaway of personalised Girgit sunglasses for media influencers, Bollywoo distributed their fashion wear at Girgit’s launch party. Storytel, on the other hand, ensured the online streaming of Girgit on their platform.
Other Brands like Abhibus, Viral Pitch, Invisible Gastronomy Bar, Flyrobe, Growfitter and Ferns N Petals also contributed to Girgit’s promotions. All these associations have helped ALTBalaji as well as the brands to broaden their reach. Interesting, eh?
Talking about their promotional stunt, Divya Dixit told Indian Television, ALTBalaji has cracked the code to youth engagement. This is evident from multiple success stories with its previous shows as well as our ongoing shows.”
She further added, “This multiple brand association model for the promotion of Girgit is a new experiment that looks to be working wonders for ALTBalaji as well as the brands that have been partnered with.
