On 30 January, martyr day or shaheed diwas is recognized to celebrate Mahatma Gandhi’s assassination day. On 23 March, martyr day is known as shaheed diwas, which is dedicated to memorizing the blood of three noteworthy Indian activists, Bhagat singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev.

Why the shaheed diwas is celebrated
Under the aim to pay back for the lala lajpat rai assassination, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and rajguru embraced the liberty movement. On various counts, along with the shooting of British patrol officers john saunders in 1928, the three male republicans are detained.
However, they had no plan to murder john saunders, but the inspector general of police, James Scott, was the priority since he urged his army personnel to pursue a lathe attack that ended in the lala lajpat rai martyrdom. So, to pay tribute to this contribution and sacrifice of three brave heroes of the country, the Indians celebrate the shaheed diwas on 23 march.
How is it celebrated?
On the 30 January every year, the president and prime minister of India and other leaders reach rajghat, where the gravesite of mahatma Gandhi is located. They pay honor to him by offering garlands and flowers on his gravesite.
And on 23 march, the youth parade is done at various places in India. It is done by Indian youth to pay honor to rajguru, bhagat Singh, and Sukhdev.
