There is great news for alcohol lovers, India’s first alcohol museum has opened its doors in Goa and this museum was established by local business Nandan Kudchadkar.
Hundreds of artifacts related to feni are housed there, including oversized, traditional glass vats used to keep the native cashew-based wine decades ago.
India’s first museum dedicated to booze in Goa has opened its doors to “spirited” visitors. Nandan Kudchadkar, a local businessman, founded the “All About Alcohol” museum in Candolim hamlet in North Goa.
Hundreds of artifacts related to feni can be found in the museum, including giant, traditional glass vats used to keep the native cashew-based alcohol decades ago.
According to Mr. Kudchadkar, the main objective of this museum is to make the world aware of the rich heritage of Goa so that the world can get to know more and more about Goa, especially the story of feni, a strong native drink.
“The first thing that sprang to mind when I thought of inventing a concept like this was whether there existed an alcohol museum anywhere in the globe.” There isn’t a single spot on the planet where you can witness this kind of material related to booze. If you visit Scotland, you will notice that Scots are highly proud of their waters, drinks, and other amenities. Similarly, in Russia, people are pleased to show off their cocktails,” he remarked.
When we visit India, we have a new perspective on drinking. “I decided to open India’s first museum dedicated to alcohol-based on my instincts,” he said.
The CEO of the Alcohol Museum has stated that the use of alcohol was a symbol of hospitality for the Gora dwellers. Kaju Feni is one of the most popular cocktails and above all, this cocktail is displayed in this museum.
“The amount of data kept here is incredible. The place has me bewildered and awed. “It’s incredible how much information they’ve kept here for visitors to see,” a tourist commented.
“The amount of information maintained here is astonishing,” remarked Dr. Malhotra, a Maharashtra visitor who visited the site. The place has me bewildered and awed. It’s incredible how much information they’ve saved here for tourists to see.”
The alcohol museum in Goa is a significant victory for alcoholic persons. Now India can present their best drink to the visitor and make its best image in front of the people. The best thing is that here you can find many varieties to taste and serve this to your guest. Lots of types mean you can afford from minimum price to higher price. This museum will not only attract Indians, but it will attract foreign guests also. India is most famous for its quality and now for an Alcohol museum means it will provide more employment in their museum. If you want to taste these wines, you have to come at least once a year and enjoy your party with varieties of alcohol.
