The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission was launched by our honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. The other name of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission is Pradhan Mantri Digital Health Mission. The policy is currently being implemented in the pilot phase in the union territories as well as in six states. The health IDs would be created by using the details of an individual and contact number, and Aadhar Card.
About the policy-
The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission is also called as National Digital Mission. Our honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi announced the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission on Independence Day that is august 15, 2021. He announced this in his speech from the ramparts of the red fort. According to the prime minister’s office or PMO, the policy is currently being implemented in the pilot phase in the union territories as well as in six states. The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission aim to create an online platform that would be seamless, which would enable sharing of information within the digital health ecosystem. The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission aimed to provide health care facilities to the citizens of India more easily.
The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission would have all the records related to the health of that particular person. The key component of the project is that every citizen must have their own health ID. The health ID must contain all the problems of health as well as the health condition of a particular person. The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission basically wants to create a health account of every individual in the country. The health records could be linked and view with the help of software mobile application. Our honorable prime minister Shri Narendra Modi said that the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission would improve access to healthcare facilities with the help of technology.
Health Care Facility-
The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission has aimed to enable the citizen of India to have easy and convenient access to health care facilities. The launch of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission coincides with the national health authority on the celebration of its 3rd anniversary of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Yojana. According to the current survey, over 1 lakh health IDs had been created under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. During the press conference, the government of India has announced that the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission aimed to provide health care facilities to the citizens of India more easily. The health IDs of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission would enable the access and exchange of longitudinal health records of the individuals with their consent. The health information would contain every detailed information like details about every test, the doctor’s prescriptions, and health diseases.
Conclusion-
The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission includes a health ID with unique 14 digit health identification. The health ID of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission will be issued for every citizen. The health IDs can be used as the health account of the citizens. The national health ID would contain all the information related to the health of a particular individual.
