Raksha Bandhan 2021: Haryana Allows Free Bus Travel For Women, Kids Up To 15 Years Of Age

On the occasion of Raksha bandhan, the Haryana government has given a lovely gift to all mothers, sisters, and daughters. As per the source, women do not need to pay bus fare on Raksha  bandhan 22nd August and are also free for their 15-year-old children.

This option will be available to women and children throughout the state and travel from anywhere in Haryana to Delhi and Chandigarh.

To celebrate Raksha Bandhan 2021, the Haryana government on Tuesday 17th August 2021 announced that women and their children under 15 would ride free on state roads buses on August 22.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said on Twitter that women and their 15-year-old children have been allowed free transport in the state so that sisters can meet their brothers and tie rakhi.

It is mandatory to follow all the rules of Covid-19

In a series of tweets, the Chief Minister, while announcing the guidance following the COVID outbreak, said state-run buses will perform at 50% volume and take relevant measures to guarantee passenger safety.

According to him, In light of Covid-19, buses will be operated at half-capacity, and appropriate safety precautions will be implemented. Traveling by bus will necessitate the use of face masks and other Covid-19 procedures.
