Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and her Swiss partner Martina Hingis are just four more wins away from making a new world record in women’s tennis history. Defeating their opponent Chinese pair Saisai Zheng and Yi-Fan Xu in WTA Qatar Open, the duo is just now few more steps away from breaking as well as creating a new world record.

People around the world witnessed an easy three set win against their Chinese opponent in the match, which took place at Doha on Wednesday. In this way, they continued their unbeatable winning streak to 41matches. The Indo-Swiss duo who played for around one hour twenty four minutes makes their full effort to defeat their opponents and they have been able to do so at the end of the match when tally of all three sets shows something like 6-4, 4-6, 10-4 thus making their way to the finals.

The duo have already won four titles and have collected all together 13 trophies in past few months. Till now not a single duo in women’s double have managed to break the world record of maximum of 44 matches won, set by Jana Novotna and Helena Sukova back in 1990. As since the duo has made several successful attempt starting from this year in Brisbane and Sydney, many of the experts and tennis lovers believes that the duo is capable of breaking the world record. The Indo-Swiss partnership is now world’s number 1 duo who have successfully entered in the quarter finals and hope to win the WTA Qatar Open title.
