Asia Cup T20 : India – Pakistan clash on Saturday

Once again, the rival teams India and Pakistan are going to face each other in Asia Cup T20 tournament, which is to be held at Mirpur on Saturday. The match is going to be a crucial one for both the teams as this one will be the final face-off between each other before ICC T20 World Cup tournament. Experts believe that Pakistan is a tough team and with Mohammed Amir in the team, Pakistan can prove to be an unpredictable one for team India.

Pakistan cricket council will decide, whether Mohammed Amir is fit to play for the country in ICC World Cup, on the basis of his performance in the coming encounter with team India. Thus, this rehabilitated pacer might create problems for India. On the other hand, Captain Dhoni and his team are pretty much confident that the odds will be in the favor of their team.282180-650x390

Mohammed Amir is back in the team after serving five years of ban on spot fixing and has been playing for his country since Pakistan’s New Zealand tour. Virat Kohli has tweeted congratulating Amir on his return. Well none the less this amazingly talented player will no doubt show his skills in the Asia Cup T20 series. He however need to show off his much better performance against team India during this match in order to fetch himself a position in ICC T20 World Cup team and also in the hearts of cricket loving fans in Pakistan.

No wonder why this match is a crucial one for both the teams, India has never lost against Pakistan in any global events whether it be T20’s or One Day matches. The political dis-balance between both the countries for past few decades is also one of the major reason why India-Pakistan cricket match is always considered as battle between the nations.  Both the team are well prepared for the Saturday’s match keeping in mind the number of matches played by both the countries.

This is the first time when Asia Cup is played in T20 format hence all the eyes are on both the team and their performance. However, considering the performance of Hardik Pandya and Rohit Sharma in the last match of Asia Cup, team India might end up giving a good fight to their opponents at Mirpur on Saturday. The only thing, which worries the Indian Cricket Council is the fitness of Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni who is suffering from back spasm. India has a good batting line up which consists of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh and Shikhar Dhavan.

Alongside, Pakistan is also well prepared to beat the Indian team with their opening duo Mohammed Hafeez and Sharjeel Khan. Players like Umar Akmal, Mohammed Sami and obviously Mohammed Amir cannot be neglected. Overall the match will prove to be an interesting one for the fans of both the countries.
