The Updates Of Day 4

Fencing: The Indian Fencer, Bhavani Devi established history in the world by the first-ever introducing fencing game in Tokyo Olympics. Bhavani Devi gained a victory in the R1 match 15-3. The opponent of Bhavani Devi was World no. 3 Manon Brunet with 7-15 in round 2. Though she was the failure to beat Manon Brunet, she made a great record as the first Indian Fencer in Tokyo Olympics.

Archery: Men’s team 1/8 Elimination, the entire Indian Team of Pravin Jadhav, Tarundeep Rai, and Atanu Das win against Kazakhstan 6-2 within 1st round.

Archery: In the quarter-final ofMen’s team, the Indian team of Pravin Jadhav, Tarundeep Rai, and Atanu Das, unfortunately, was defeated by South Korea in 0-6.

Shooting: In the event of the Skeet Event, Mairaj Ahmad and Angad Bajwa became unsuccessful for the Skeet event for the Final. Mairaj ended his shooting on the 25th and Angad ended his shooting quit his shooting on the 18th. 6 participants are finally qualified for the Skeet event. 122 was the score who qualified at least.

Table Tennis: In the 2nd round of Table Tennis of Men’s Singles, Sharath Kamal goes forward to the 3rd round beating Tiago Apolonia, 4-2. In Pre-QF, Sharath Kamal has to confront Ma Long.

Tennis: In the 2nd round of Men’s Singles, Sumit Nagal was the opponent of World No. 2, Daniil Medvedev. However, Sumit failed to succeed in round 2 by 2-6 and 1-6.

Table Tennis: In the2nd round of Women’s Singles a pair of  Sutirtha Mukherjee goes all the way down to higher hierarchal Fu Yu (WR 55) 0-4 in round 2.

Table Tennis: In the 3rd round of Women’s Singles Manika Batra was against Sofia Polcanova who’s World no. 17. The great battle was ended 0-7 in the 3rd round.

Sailing: Vishnu Saravanan was in Men’s Laser Race 2 & 3.

Sailing: Nathra Kumanan was in Women’s Laser Radial Race 2 & 3.

Hockey: Team India won in this event. Here the two teams were Women India and Germany Pool.

Boxing: In the Prelims of Round 32, Ashis Kumar gained a victory by lifting 75kg.

Badminton: In Men’s Doubles Group Play Stage – World No. 1 “Minions” was against Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/ Chirag Shetty. 13-21 and 12-21 were the scoreboards in their 2nd Group match.  However, they are an assertion for a position in QF.
