Highlight:- On the third day of Tokyo Olympics, 2020 Indian woman athlete again boosted the name of India in Olympics. The sixth time winner MC Mary Kom again won against Miguelina Hernandez Garcia, who was her opponent in the Women’s Fkyweight of 51 kg. On the other hand, in the Women’s Singles Table Tennis game, Manika Barta became successful to go forward in the following round. Margaryta Pestoksa was her opponent. And it’s a great come back of Manika Barta.

Boxing:-

There was a hard competition running between Mary Kom and Miguelina Hernandez Garcia. But Mary Kom showed her presence of mind beautifully on the forum. And this strength ensured the win of India. Though both performed very well till the note of final whistle. But the pray of every Indian obliged to make another history of Mary Kom. She gained a victory by lifting 51 kg of weight.

Our popular Mary Kom’s real name is Chungneijang Mary Kom Hmangte. She is India’s leading boxer who’s motherland is Manipur. The great fact about that is She made record by her continue winning of the 6th time in World Amateur Boxing Championship. And from India she is the one and only to secure medals in the championships. In 2014, in Asian Games Mary Kom was the first in women who grabbed the Gold Medal in that game. Not only that, in 2018, in the match of Commonwealth Games, she again was the only Indian athlete to secure a Gold Medal. For this, Manipur government to show honour gave her a title “Meethoi Leima”. As a great woman athlete she won the prestigious titles like Padma Bhusan, Padma Shri, Arjun Award, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award etc.

Tennis:-

The Rio Olympic champion, India’s PV Sindhu commenced the campaign of Tokyo Olympics with a gigantic start on Sunday at Musashino Forest Plaza. In this match her opponent was Polikarpova, whose rank was 58. But PV Sindhu caught the attention of the match from the knock out round at Tokyo Olympics. PV Sindhu slowly showed her magic and grab 12 starlight points. At the time the score stood at 17-5. Then with a great speed she ended at 21-7 within just 29 minutes. Actually first PV Sindhu was playing in a attacking mode.But after 13 straight shots she used her trademark strategy to overthrow her opponent. This World number 7 Indian will compete in the group phase next with Cheung Ngan Yi, Hong Kong’s world number 34.

It’s not her first ever made record. In the year, 2016, in Summer Olympics, she achieved Silver Medal as the first Indian woman Badminton Champion. After a succession of victory in the court of Badminton, she also was honouredwith the prestigious title like Padma Shri. In 2017, she again won the silver medal as the youngest badminton player of India in BFW World Championship.
