28th July, 2021, Wednesday – it’s the 6th Day of Tokyo Olympics 2020. Each day has vital for every country. And we are eagerly awaiting for the day to day’s result. So let’s check out the yesterday’s results.

Update of Day 6 Tokyo Olympic 

  1. Hockey: It’s the unfortunate day of India. As India had to accept her defeat in Women’s Pool A against the Great Britain. The score was 1-4. Though there are two matches more against Ireland and South Africa. So Indians still have a hope for the next matches.
  2. Rowing: India gained an incredible chance yesterday for the first time to participate in the semi final of Rowing. It’s Men’s Double Sculls A/B 2. Arjun Lal Jat and Arvind Singh gave their best effort but unfortunately couldn’t make their place in the final of Lightweight Men’s Double Sculls.
  3. Boxing: Yesterday Women’s Middle (69-75kg) was held. Again an Indian woman raised the pride of India by winning against Algeria. Here the Indian boxer Pooja Rani made her position against Algeria’s Ichrak Chaib in the next Quartet Final round. And hopefully she is very close to Tokyo Olympics Medals.
  4. Badminton: Yesterday’s Badminton event was a great day for India. As Indian’s dignity P.V. Sindhu took forward her Group J in Women’s Singles Group Play Stage. It’s really a wonderful performance of P.V. Sindhu against Ngan Yi Cheung at 21-9, 21-16.
  5. Badminton: It’s a bad day for Sai Praneeth. As he had to receive his defeat against Mark Caljouw with 14-21, 14-21 in the 2nd round of the match.
  6. Archery:
  • Men’s Individual 1/32 Eliminations – A great stroke by Tarundeep Rai against Oleksii Hunbin. He finished the event at 6-4 dashboard and goes forward to Men’s Individual 1/16 Eliminations. But in the 2nd round Tarundeep Rai wrecks out from the event.
  • Men’s Individual 1/32 Eliminations – In Men’s Individual 1/32 Eliminations, Bazarzhapov Galsan was defeated by Pravin Jadhav. Pravin was qualified to the next round with 6-0 score. However, in the next round Pravir unluckily had to accept the setback to world number 1, Brady Ellison with the score 0-6.
  • Women’s Individual 1/32 Eliminations – In Women’s Individual 1/32, Deepika Kumari won and went forward to the Women’s Individual 1/16. She was able to beat 6-0 against Karma. Deepika Kumari was qualified to 1/8 round with a great record of defeating Jennifer Fernandez. And she went forward to round 1/6.
  1. Sailing: It’s 49er Men’s race 2, 3 and 4. Indian sailing team of Varun A Thakkar and KC Ganapathy gave a promising effort in sailing.
  • In the Race 1 and 2= 18th
  • Race 3= 17th
  • Race 4= 19th.
  1. Sailing: In Women’s Laser Radial Race, Nethra

Kumanan showed the tremendous undertaking.

  • In the Race 1= 15th

  • Race 3= 32th
  • Race 4= 38th
